Our employees are the heart and soul of this company.
We genuinely care about and place the highest value on each and every single one of our employees. If there is anything we can do to make the work experience and environment more comfortable, we adapt immediately to ensure not just the pleasure, but safety of all employees. Our employees are always more than welcome and encouraged to come to us with any issues.
A number of our employees at Universal are US veterans. We place a great deal of emphasis on the military men and women veterans who have served our country and then come to Universal Galvanizing. These individuals are the heart and soul of this company and numerous vets on our team have led to leadership roles at all levels.
Safety First
We are proud to say that we hardly ever have on-the-job injuries. The safety and health of our employees is one of our highest priorities which we take very seriously and therefore, we will take all precautions to make sure that injuries and incidents stay to a minimum.
Our Procedure for Handling Complaints
Under normal working conditions, employees who have a job-related problem, question or complaint should first discuss it with their immediate supervisor. At this level, employees usually reach the simplest, quickest, and most satisfactory solution. If the employee and supervisor do not solve the problem, or if the employee does not feel comfortable speaking with the supervisor, he/she is encouraged to contact the HR Coordinator. If the employee does not feel comfortable contacting the HR Manager, he/she should contact the manager.
If you are a victim of harassment, bullying or discrimination in any form, please report that to your direct supervisor. If you feel uncomfortable reporting this to your supervisor, you must submit your concerns to the present Human Resources Coordinator. If you are uncomfortable going to the HR Coordinator with this information, then contact the manager.
Order of communication for issues that may arise:
- Always start by contacting your immediate supervisor.
- Contact General Manager
- Contact Head of Human Resources
- Contact Vice President
